AI is already disrupting supply chain management, and it's being used for demand forecasting, inventory management, supplier evaluation, process optimization, and more. However, due to hallucinations, ethical implications, and security concerns, AI does not seem poised to completely take over supply chain management anytime soon. AI will likely entail job disruption, but it's not the end of the profession.
