Exploring the Ideological Differences between Blockchain and DAG: Individualism vs. Collectivism
Too Long; Didn't Read
In blockchains, user transactions have to be approved/accepted by block producers. DAG users both *create* transactions and *add* them to the ledger without help of any third parties.
This means that DAG users have full autonomy, full independence, full control of their lives (as far as distributed ledgers are concerned), which relates to individualistic values. In blockchains, however, user transactions have to be approved/accepted by block producers who are supposed to (at best) reflect the community's will.
