In the entire history of E3 as a conference event, as well as my existence, I have never seen E3 be fully cancelled before the year 2020 and the rapid spread of the Coronavirus. With other companies having shifted to YouTube, Twitter, Press Releases, etc. for their announcements, such as Sony, PlayStation, etc., the time has come for E3 to seriously think about how it can rebrand itself for its’ hopefully eventual return in 2023 (barring any virus-related concerns).
