QuakeCon Returning in 2021 as Online-Only Event

QuakeCon is making a comeback later this year. Bethesda Softworks has confirmed that QuakeCon will return this August 2021. It will be an online, digital-only event. Last year, the convention was forced to cancel due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Microsoft's acquisition of Bethesda parent company ZeniMax Media was completed earlier this year in a landmark $7.5 billion purchase. This will be the first time the convention will be held under the company's new owners in Microsoft.
