Hey Hackers! I’m Arian Adeli and I’m the CEO at Rivo Trading.
First of all, I’d like to say a huge thank you to the HackerNoon community for recognizing me as the winner of:
Investing Contributor of the Year
I’ve always been passionate about writing and investing. So, I am honored to have been given this title which matches both my interests. I take this award as an encouragement and I plan to work hard to contribute more to this field by writing stories about ground-breaking technology.
Aside from writing more informative content in this category, I am committed to paving a path that makes it easier for anyone to start investing. Since I was young, I’ve had a natural attraction to the field of investing. My long-term vision is to introduce a sustainable way of beginning your investing journey at any age with any level of experience.
2022 is going to be an important year for me. I have set many personal and professional goals that I am pursuing. Although, uppermost on my mind is launching an investment platform that I believe will revolutionize how people invest their capital. I have been working on this for quite some time now and I hope to bring it to completion this year!
The metaverse can bring many life changing applications into our daily lives that will benefit us. However, our digital lives becoming more important than our physical lives is not the sort of life I want to lead. At the end of the day, this is an individual choice for every person, but a solution could be to hesitate from engaging in activities that neglect our physical lives.
Another trend that concerns me is the blinded hype towards NFTs. Everyday, so many projects are launching that offer virtually no value to their investors. Yet, people invest in these projects because they are blinded by the hype that surrounds this space. These projects will die off eventually and the space will correct itself. However, I would advise builders to focus on providing real value rather than generating a quick return. Believe me, this is more rewarding.
The excessive use of social media is another trend which deeply concerns me. I see it as a dangerous addiction that can have a significant impact on our lives. I can’t lie, I have also fallen victim to this, but I have realized the negative impact sooner rather than later. The solution that works for me is finding activities that give you the same pleasure in a productive way. Keep yourself busy and you will never go back to your Facebook or Instagram feed.
I would like to praise the team at HackerNoon for creating such a friendly platform that gives anyone the chance to thrive in any tech-related fields that they are passionate about. I love everything about this community, from the user interface to the creative award titles, it’s all perfect.
This might sound cliché but I strongly believe in having a purpose. Aimlessly working towards progression won’t get you far. I have a vision to positively contribute to the field of investing and finance using innovative technology. No matter how great the reward, I will not betray that vision.
I have always been a big fan of sad songs, but lately, I’ve grown quite fond of sad, instrumental songs. In fact, I’m listening to some as I’m writing this. These songs are particularly enjoyable when you are trying to focus, because you don’t get the urge to sing along to them. And frankly, you feel like you’re in a movie. Pretty cool if you ask me.
As general as this sounds, investing. I know this isn’t the answer most would expect for this question, but the majority of people don’t fully grasp the concept of investing. It’s a lot more than just putting your money in a financial scheme in the hopes of making a profit, even though that’s also a big part of it. When you invest in an idea, you support that idea, whether it’s a company, a cryptocurrency, or a pixelated NFT of a bird. Your investment adds value to that idea in more ways than one.
As a closing note, I would like to thank everyone who took time out of their days to vote for me during this campaign. It is really an honor for me to have won this award, and I owe it to everyone who supported me.
