Horizon Forbidden West was originally expected to launch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 later this year. PlayStation Studios head Hermen Hulst sounded positive that Forbidden West would still make a holiday 2021 launch. The game continues the saga of Horizon Forbidden Dawn, continuing her adventure in dangerous future America filled with machines and dangerous, new threats. It looks better for everyone in the long run if the team is given more time to work on the game during such a difficult time in the world, especially when major game development such as this is difficult enough.
