Ghost of Tsushima Film in the Works After Selling Over 6.5 Million Copies

A live-action feature film based on the mega-hit game, Ghost of Tsushima, is currently in the works. Sucker Punch Productions is partnering with Sony Pictures to develop the feature. John Wick director Chad Stahelski is attached to direct the project. The game has sold a massive 6.5 million copies since the game’s July 2020 launch. The story follows a samurai warrior, Jin Sakai, the last survivor of his clan who seeks to protect Tsushima Island from the first Mongol Invasion of Japan.
