Wizards of the Coast and Tuque Games dropped the official gameplay trailer this week for the next installment of the Dark Alliance RPG series. Set in the world of Dungeons & Dragons, Dark Alliance arrives as a multi-platform release this June.
In addition to the new gameplay footage, the game is now available for pre-order on its official website in both Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions. Players who select the Digital Deluxe Edition will receive access to a Lich Weapon set, with a Lich-themed scimitar, bow, axe, or hammer, and also the Echoes of the Blood War expansion content.
The title is being developed by Tuque Games. Tuque as a developer is still relatively new on the scene. The company’s only other credited title is 2016’s Livelock. So, this could be a major test or breakout game for the company.
The new gameplay trailer shows footage of Drizzt Do'Urden of Forgotten Realms, who is a playable character in the campaign, along with his other notable allies: Catti-brie; Bruenor Battlehammer; and Wulfgar. It appears players will be able to form parties and take part in some large-scale boss battles as well. Also, gamers will be able to take part in both local and online co-op modes.
Dark Alliance will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC via Steam on June 22. You can view that new gameplay trailer below:
