The automotive industry is approaching a pivotal moment. There’s a shift towards electric powertrain motivated by greater public demand, government policies and new entrants into the market. Volvo, Ford, Jaguar Land Rover and Toyota announced their entire portfolio of cars will be electrified to some degree within the next decade or so. Newcomers such as Tesla and even Dyson are also actively pursuing a purely electric powertrain.

Recently, Gogoro just rolled out on all new electric scooter called the Gogoro 2 Smartscooter along with its plans to add a <a href="https://hackernoon.com/tagged/network" target="_blank">network</a> of more than 500 battery stations to the already existing 350 all over <a href="https://hackernoon.com/tagged/taiwan" target="_blank">Taiwan</a>. Looking back, just 2 years ago was when Gogoro revealed itself to the world and was known to the world as the Tesla on two wheels.
