There are some games that are popular, but their not for everyone. Here are some games that never managed to click with us despite how popular they are.

Probably Halo. I've never been a big first-person shooter person in the first place. The Halo games and Master Chief never appealed all that much to me, but they are solid games.

Halo - i.e. games allow us to fantasize about anything, why should we fantasize about killing?
Limarc AmbalinaMar 25, 2021, 3:59 PM
David Smooke that's a BIG question, but some would argue that games are an avenue to purge ones emotions, angers, frustrations.

I'd argue that if someone was going to become a murderer, they were going to do so regardless if they played shooting games or not

But to answer Jose's question! This links directly to Jack's thread about Assasin's Creed: https://slogging.slack.com/archives/C01EREJGLPQ/p1616463710054000

I really wish I was able to get into the series, because I actually liked the film alot (I know the game fans didn't)

Okay, I'm coming in with a controversial one (please don't hate me, everybody 😂) mines got to be the Last of Us. I didn't like what I played of the first one. I'm not sure if it's the post-apocalyptic zombie setting or the game's narrative. The game and the franchise hasn't clicked with me, and I'm not the biggest fan...

Limarc, I have to agree with you about Assassins' Creed. I like history, but for some reason I never got drawn to the franchise. I would love to give it a shot though!

I can also see your guys' perspective on Halo. I love to play the multiplayer, but I could never get into the campaign.

Nicolas, what would your choice be?
Nicolas NgMar 26, 2021, 9:42 PM
I gotta be honest, I've never enjoyed Pokemon. I wish I could enjoy it to see what people like so much about it but I certainly can't get into it
Jose HernandezMar 26, 2021, 9:56 PM
I can definitely see your perspective. I like the lore and the world, but I could never get into the gameplay.
