The Partnership

Skybound Entertainment, which was co-founded by The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, has recently partnered with The Sandbox to bring The Walking Dead into the metaverse’s gaming space within the Ethereum blockchain.

The partnership promises to bring epic new zombie experiences for fans of The Walking Dead, or zombies in general, to The Sandbox and the blockchain.

The Experience

The Walking Dead’s gaming experience within The Sandbox metaverse will be enjoyed immensely by those who love The Walking Dead, zombie-related media and the horror genre.

Players will experience what it takes to survive in a zombie-infested world. They’ll need to scavenge supplies, such as food, medicine and resources. They’ll need to build walled or fenced safe havens to protect themselves and other survivors from the Walkers. They may also need to develop mutual friendships and alliances - or take whatever they need by force.

The Walking Dead LAND Sale

The partnership will kick off with a The Walking Dead themed LAND sale at The Sandbox.

LAND on The Sandbox is a virtual piece of digital real-estate that can be monetised.

Starting on the 26th August 2021, you will be able to purchase LAND in The Sandbox as part of this partnership, as well as some unique The Walking Dead non-fungible token (NFT) assets.

Using this LAND and your assets, you can create your very own experience within The Sandbox metaverse and monetise it to earn yourself a nice, steady flow of income.

The Walking Dead LAND sale will span across four waves:

• Wave 1: The Prison - 26th August at 1pm UTC.
