Too Long; Didn't Read

The Mozilla Foundation has published a report that rates the security of the most popular video chat apps out there. Most of the big tech players offer solutions without end-to-end encryption by default, whereas WhatsApp and Apple’s FaceTime do. Facebook Messenger, Microsoft Teams and Skype do not use end to-end encrypted by default. Houseparty, Skype and WhatsApp only supports making video calls from its phone app, and WhatsApp shares your personal information with third-party partners for operating and advertising purposes. Google Meet just started rolling out its integration with Gmail.
