Q:  So, let's start! First, tell us a bit about yourself—for example, name, profession, and personal interests.

A:   My name is Samiran Mondal. I am a content creator of blockchain-related works. I am the CEO and founder of News Coverage Agency, a full-service digital marketing agency. I have many years of experience as a freelance journalist, editor, author, and contributor for many news sites like Hackernoon, Investing, Benzinga, and more.

I am passionate about creating a better environment for the communities around me in whatever way I can. Mainly my heart lies in helping children from these communities by providing a healthy environment to realize their dreams.

Q:  Please sum up what the metaverse is in 1 to two paragraphs.

A: The metaverse has been a popular trend for a long time, offering different advantages for different interests. From a creative point of view, I can define metaverses as a game-changer innovation that creates a new reality in the digital world, allowing users to explore endless possibilities. This innovation provides a realistic 3D virtual world by combining technologies such as blockchain, augmented reality, Web3, virtual reality, and in some cases, Artificial Intelligence. This digital environment allows users to create various elements, including land, businesses, schools, and even luxury environments such as concerts, picnics with friends, or museums.

Q: Are you currently, directly or indirectly, working on building a metaverse?

A: No, I am not. However, I have followed and immersed myself in different projects from the ground up to understand the metaverse better.

A: The metaverse is here to stay; there is no doubt about that.

Q: Why is the metaverse such a revolutionary concept?

A: The metaverse is providing a whole new digital world that will allow users to do anything pretty much when fully developed. The concept is that a convergence of different technologies brings user experience to a new level. The innovation promises to bring users closer, provide new revenue streams, and provide a platform for creators to express themselves without constraints in the physical world.

Q:  What can people build in the metaverse that we can't build on the Internet or in virtual reality today? What limitations of our current technology does the metaverse free us from?

A: Virtual land. The Internet has brought out so much, including eCommerce, that saw many businesses go online. However, the metaverse adds to the developments done by the Internet by adding a new element of virtual land.

Through decentralization, the metaverse frees users to form the control environment that has largely been dominated by a few players who benefit at the expense of others. The innovation offers a fair chance for all users to thrive despite their origin.

A: Bothe technologies seek to create a decentralized future. The Metaverse harness different element of blockchain technologies to bring out its advantages, including NFTs, digital identity, P2P transaction, and tokenization.

The short answer is yes. The metaverse could exist without blockchain. However, this would be a big mistake and an advanced reaction by Big Tech industries.

Q: How quickly do you think the metaverse will be developed? How much can we expect metaverse tech to grow in the next 5 to 10 years?

A: The metaverse is still in its infancy stages. However, the available technologies have significantly provided their capabilities. That said, I believe it will not take long for the metaverse to develop fully.

In the next 5 to 10 years, we will have a much more refined and truly-immersed digital world. We will also see more public participation and acceleration of hardware and software technologies necessary for facilitating the digital space.

Q: What is your hope for the metaverse? Do you have any worries, or does the concept pose any threats?

A: I am hopeful that the metaverse will provide a better future far beyond what we can imagine.

It is still too early to start speculating at the moment, but I believe the innovation will bring better than harm.

Q: Thanks for your time! Any final words?
