The tech space has been buzzing with talk about the metaverse for a few months now. We saw it get to a fever pitch when Facebook changed the name of its holding company to "Meta." The Silicon Valley giant has also spent millions in research as it looks to build a metaverse that will completely change the way humans relate to their immediate environment.

While Travis Scott's concert in Fortnite was attended by 12 million people, leading influencers such as Paris Hilton, Emily Ratajkowski, Snoop Dogg, and many more are already creating and selling their exclusive NFT collections.

Despite the immense growth of social media(SM), NFTs and metaverse concepts, a significant majority of social media influencers are still untapped when it comes to these concepts. There is lack of a universal solution that would fit the needs of the triangle of brands, influencers, and their audiences, while accommodating their transition into the metaverse. This is where metaverse projects like Metafluence come in. What is Metafluence?

Metafluence enables influencers to monetize their social media power and creativity in the metaverse. As social media (SM) is transitioning to the metaverse, our vision is to build an influencer-centric ecosystem where SM influencers, their audiences, and brands are quickly engaged in transparent and incentivized relations. We are on a mission to convert SM Influencers into metaverse entrepreneurs (Metapreneurs) through our influence-to-earn Metafluence platform. Our solutions for influencers automatically address the brand and audience challenges, enabling all the parties to thrive in Web 3.0.

What is Metahut? What are its details?

Metahuts (Influencer homes) are the main architectural elements of the city and will serve as personalized spaces in the metaverse. The Metahuts will consist of customizable rooms. Each of these rooms will allow influencers to monetize their SM influence better and engage closely with their audience and brands in the Metafluence ecosystem. For example:

  • NFT Room will allow influencers to showcase or sell NFTs they created or own.
  • Event Room will allow influencers to hold public, private, or premium events with their audience. In-room events can be held in collaboration with other influencers.
  • Shopping Room is a special place where hosts can set up their own marketplace for digital and physical products and collaborate with brands through sponsorships.

Influencers will group in Influencer clans (Metaclans) to unify their SM influence and reach. Influencers, their audiences, and brands will engage in various events that could be in-clan, public, private, or premium. The main focus of the events is to allow influencers to monetize their SM reach and influence, whether it's audience participation or brand sponsorships.

What is the vision of the metaverse that you have?

Our vision is to create an influencer-centric ecosystem in the metaverse where Social Media (SM) influencers, their audiences, and brands are quickly engaged in transparent and incentivized relations. We want to build a decentralized world where SM influencers will have better monetization and engagement tools with their audiences. We believe that each person is an influencer, once they realize their potential for creativity and its impact on others.

Since the emergence of the metaverse technology at Metafluence, we aim to utilize the opportunities that metaverse brings to revolutionize the influencer marketing industry. Our primary value proposition empowers the influencers with better monetization tools and techniques. Indeed, metaverse creates a whole new set of platforms on which influencers can expand their influence away beyond the real world.

Our goal is to facilitate and foster an enhanced virtual ecosystem in the metaverse for influencers to engage with their audiences in a way like never. We also aim to enable influencers to collaborate with brands to promote their physical and digital products to their audiences in the metaverse.

How do you envision the entrance of large technology companies into the metaverse?

It is not surprising that the big tech is entering the metaverse, given that it is the future iteration of the internet. The digital and decentralized world overrides the limitations of the real world by unlocking unlimited opportunities that empower all parties. In fact, technology companies are not the only ones realizing the power of the metaverse, as we see more and more corporations transiting into the digital world.

What engagement opportunities exist in Metahut?

Metahuts will have more or fewer rooms based on influencers' SM audience size regarding the features. However, users can obtain any Metahut features or assets, including the room's additional expense. The rooms are personalized spaces within Metahuts, and they will allow influencers to better monetize their SM influence, engage closely with their audience and brands in the Metafluence ecosystem. As mentioned above, Metahuts will mainly consist of the following rooms: NFT, Event, Shopping, Game, etc. rooms. Each of these rooms will serve different purposes. For example, Metahut owners will showcase or sell their NFTs via their NFT rooms or host private/public events via their Event room, etc.

What are the biggest challenges you've encountered while scaling?

The information scarcity about the metaverse and knowledge of traditional influencers to adapt to the metaverse. We plan to organize educational campaigns for creators to smoothen their transition into the metaverse.

How do you see the metaverse penetrating even the most remote areas of the world?

As tech and social media are becoming more innovative every day, Web 2.0 is becoming obsolete, as it fails to provide the feeling of presence and more interactivity compared to a metaverse environment. So, the transition into a worldwide accessible Metaverse is inevitable. As we are typing URL addresses to access different websites, we envision a world where we can access different metaverses in a very similar way. We can think of it as a "World Wide Metaverse." But how long will it take to have such a network and technology is anyone's guess?

Do you welcome collaborations with some of the biggest companies in the world towards building a more accessible metaverse?

Metaverse is an untapped world with unlimited opportunities. Thus, collaboration is the key to opening the doors to a wide range of possibilities. We believe in the potential of building solid connections with large companies, and we are optimistic that having capable partners will help us to thrive in the metaverse. At this stage, we are already partnering with companies in the sphere such as Decubate, DigiCorp Labs, IKONIC, UpFi Network, ARize, Solchicks, and we look forward to expanding our network further.
