To evaluate a potential central bank digital currency, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System published a document in January 2022 titled Money and Payments: The U.S. Dollar in the Age of Digital Transformation. The paper purports to summarize the current state of domestic payments systems, and further discuss the different types of digital payment methods and assets that have emerged in recent years, including stablecoins and other cryptocurrencies. The authors have requested feedback via an online form that poses more than twenty-two questions due by May 20th, 2022.
Since meaningful responses require more than the five-thousand characters allowed by the twenty field response form - and some sections actually contain more than one question, we are publishing thoughts and observations on it here instead, while further addressing some of the shortfalls in the framing and positioning of the paper, and a consequent request for comment.
Congratulations @kameir, you have won 2,500 USDT!
Sir, congratulations again on the work anniversary! Privileged to have taken your course. You taught us to read more and explore with an open mind. Thank you.
Over the last few years, I have tried to do just that: explore with an open mind. It has led me to the wonderful world of Web3.
Hence, after reading your opinion piece about cryptocurrencies, I felt slightly troubled. Unfortunately, I cannot agree with some of the views stated there.
Loved your story, @abhijoysarkar! You have won 1,500 USDT
I wholeheartedly believe that curation does have an important role in the space. The industry will not only need artists to create NFTs and collectors to purchase them, but it also needs curators to help develop and foster talent, and guide buyers towards finding the next work to add to their collection. A curator can also help society better understand what art NFTs are, and provide insight into an individual work’s value and meaning within the context of this historic art movement.
Yay @montyatsaatchi, You have won 500 USDT.
As more institutional investors come into the crypto space, exchanges offering derivatives trading will be crucial for the continued growth of the crypto market.
@Crptonite keep those awesome stories coming! You have won 500 USDT.
We will contact the winners soon! Keep an eye on contests.hackernoon.com to keep up with all the writing contests.
