Too Long; Didn't Read

Redis is a fast, open source key-value data store. It is a data structure designed to manage geospatial indexes in Redis. Redis uses sorted lists (**ZSET**) as the underlying data structure, but with on-the-fly encoding and decoding of location data. This means indexing, searching and sorting by a specific location can be thrown into Redis with very few lines of code and minimal effort using the built-in commands:**GEOADD**,**GEODIST**, **GEORADIUS** and**GEOREMEMBER (GEOSEARCH)
