When targeted clients enter a geofence, ads or push notifications will be activated enticing them within that boundary to visit the storefront. The number of smartphone users exceeds 220 million people, and statistics support the point of hyperlocal tracking and RFID marketing. Despite the security questions, it doesn’t look like geofences will soon lose popularity.
