In this slogging thread, we discuss whether the key to the Metaverse is AI. According to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, it is. However, the Hackernoon staff disagree. From all the AMAs we've done, my understanding is that AI is a powerful key to developing the Metaverse. There are a lot of reports of accounts being deactivated wrongly and others are free to do whatever and spread whatever message. Yet, it has brought a different notion to social platforms. Way different from Instagram or Facebook Abeer Mar 7, 2022, 10:26 AM Jack Boreham I definitely can see AI playing a big part in Web3 and the Metaverse similar to how APIs and the rise of Web & Mobile applications play a big part in Web 2.0. I’m just wary of how he might be trying to profit off of it. We’ve already seen how Meta makes a profit off FB and IG. I just hope this has a more consumer-friendly business model.
