The fashion industry uses approximately 79 billion cubic meters of water per year, making it one of the worst contributors to water scarcity. This is due to the massively ridiculous water costs associated with the materials processes. A single cotton shirt uses over 2700 liters of water, enough for a single person to drink for two years. The ÀLA.HAUSSE carbon footprint is significantly smaller; this is one of many ways we stay ahead of the sustainability curve. Of the 17 sustainable development goals (SDG’s) set in 2015, six of them are aligned with Àla.HAUSE’Sustainable Development Goals.
