A crypto wallet can never change its state: you will always know whether the wallet is hot or cold, because the difference is pretty clear. Hot wallets are connected to the internet, while cold wallets are disconnected from the internet. Definition of Hot and cold wallets or hot storages are more convenient, but they are less secure.
