1. Check the internet connection of your Android device


Check whether your Android phone has a proper internet connection or not. You can verify this by checking the internet bar on your phone. Also, if you use broadband instead of a mobile network, stay within the range of your broadband signal.


To check,

Swipe down from the top of your screen > quick settings menu will appear > ensure your internet is enabled > look at the signal bar at the top right-hand side.


If you use broadband,

Swipe down from the top of your screen > quick settings menu will appear > ensure your wifi is connected > check the range or strength of your wifi signal.

2. Restart or Reboot your Android device.


Restarting an Android phone is the most common solution to fix bugs and errors. When you restart or reboot any phone, its cache and malware get clear, and the phone experiences a boost which helps it to reload or reopen any app.


To do this,

Long press the power button > Reboot or Restart option will appear on the screen > Tap to reboot or restart.



3. Update your email app.


Make sure to use the latest version of your email app. Whether it is Gmail or any other app, if you still need to get its up-to-date version, you might experience various bugs and errors. You can update your email app in the Play Store.


To update your email app,

Go to Playstore > Search the email app you use > Update icon will appear if you are not using the latest version > Tap to update.


4. Check email sync settings


You can turn on email sync manually if it is off in your Gmail or any other email app. Sometimes, it gets off automatically and restricts emails. So, always remember to turn it on to sync your emails whenever you face an issue. Just Tap on the auto-sync icon to turn it on.
