Swipe down from the top of your screen > quick settings menu will appear > ensure your wifi is connected > check the range or strength of your wifi signal.
Restarting an Android phone is the most common solution to fix bugs and errors. When you restart or reboot any phone, its cache and malware get clear, and the phone experiences a boost which helps it to reload or reopen any app.
To do this,
Long press the power button > Reboot or Restart option will appear on the screen > Tap to reboot or restart.

To update your email app,
