“You shall not pass,” says Blue Bot Man. I just came out with an animated cartoon for my Audio Issues followers. When I tried to boost the video, the Facebook robots said no because it violated their advertising policies. Something about: “We don’t allow ads that use profanity, or refer to the viewer’s attributes (ex: race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, name) or harass viewers.” Although I do curse a lot, I didn’t use any profanity in the video. I double checked to make sure but, alas, no. I wasn’t that fucking stupid it seems. Although I am a privileged white male, I don’t attack my readers by calling out their race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, or name either. That’s just stupid business practice at best, racist at worst. I’d like to do neither of those things. So, it left me to conclude that the Blue Robot Eye in the Sky is seriously lacking in its sense of humor. Too many humans laughed during its production for it not to be at least mildly funny to its target audience. too hard But anyway, this is really just a long-winded way of saying: Hey! Check out this cartoon I got made!
