For Bitcoin to truly become a serious alternative to fiat currency, it must become an exchange currency. More people have to use it as a medium of exchange in payment for products and services. Whether Bitcoin is indeed a bubble remains to be seen but as of right now, there is no denying the fact that it is arguably the most valuable tradable commodity on the planet.
