The race for the next decentralized social network has officially begun, following this tweet from Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey. There have been many attempts to create open social networks. From a technical standpoint, they may be categorized as follows: Distributed Data (DD)Distributed Identities (DI) Distributed Communities (DC) is the most realistic one of all three approaches to the social network architecture. The race to create social networks has begun, with Dorsey’s tweet saying, “Distributed Communities” is officially underway.
