Unlike some other companies, we won't treat your personal data as a commodity to be sold to the highest bidder. Instead, we'll focus on providing an enjoyable and sustainable social media experience that values our users as individuals, not just as data points to be mined for profit. So to sum it up, our mission is to actually care about our users, not just pretend to care while secretly profiting off of their personal information. Expected Estonian Supreme Court Ruling In order to legally gain its independence, Instagram will be filing a case in Estonia's Metaverse Supreme Court, relying on the precedent set by the 2022 case of Google vs. the European Union. In this landmark case, the European Union found that Google's market dominance and anti-competitive practices violated antitrust laws, resulting in a hefty fine and an order to change its business practices. Similarly, Instagram will argue that Facebook's ownership and control of the platform have stifled competition and harmed users, and that the only way to ensure a sustainable and user-friendly social media platform is for Instagram to operate independently.
