Software engineer, developer, coder, or hacker, whatever title you adopt, are you a craftsperson? If you take pride in your work, what makes you "craftsperson" You must accept the humbling notion that there is always more to learn. The first, and most important, is consistent growth. The third pillar is welcoming criticism. Avoid comparing your skills to others, but avoid comparing your skill to others. Avoid having an ego, and don't feel ashamed of past work that you could do better now.
