THE POWER OF OUR TRUE STORY
One year ago Angela and I set a goal to become a Celebrity, Expert and Public Authority in the field of Leadership.
We got to work on developing ourselves everyday and shared our journey and knowledge honestly without compromise.
We told the truth daily because we believed it would create more freedoms despite the belief of critics.
This weekend we had a large number of people at our home who were seeking Leadership Training for their business and life.
Quite a few of them were amazing people I had never met in person before.
How did they find us?
Social Media and the many different platforms we use to share our daily messages in the hopes that they would connected to truth.
The truth of our story.
During the training I realized how well trained I have become at teaching what I learned.
How well trained I have become at connecting with people and what they really want.
This was done by doing the work on myself, applying the lessons, and sharing the teaching.
I have become a better version of myself that I am very proud of.
When you set out to achieve a goal the prize is not what you seek its who you become to achieve it.
How can this lesson apply to homeschooling my kids?
I can’t just rely on my knowledge of things to educate them. I must develop myself as a teacher of young minds in order to become the best they deserve.
The result will only increase my ability to lead and inspire others.
Where else in our lives do we have goals that will require us to develop ourselves to achieve?
What are we telling ourselves that prevent us from doing the work required to grow?
Anyone can do this.
“The most important benefit of setting goals isn’t achieving your goal; it’s what you do and the person you become in order to achieve your goal that’s the real benefit.”
That’s me in the purple shirt.
