For one thing, the world shown seems really similar to the one portrayed in the movies, which is good. But then, I have this feeling that this might be slightly more "childish"... I'm not a huge fan of LOTR, but I loved the visual. The first glimpse of the LOTR world in the trailer was amazing. I don't know what to expect since I'm not paying much attention. So it's based hundreds of year's before LOTR when the rings were forged. It follows a group much like the fellowship during this period. We have already received a great cinematic experience with the movies, and I think the expectations for this will be high.
