Businesses often choose to set up an LLC in the same state as the location of the business they are based in. If you have a business in the U.S. it is most likely to be in the state of origin. The state of Delaware and Wyoming are the most popular states to start an LLC. It is easier to register an LLC than a corporation in a foreign state. The company is often located in the United States, but it is not required to do so in any other state.
