Perfect” doesn’t exist.

Don’t strive for “perfect”, strive for better.

Better will always exist and will always be attainable.

If a mile is too far, cut it in half. If a half mile is still too much, cut it in half. And so on…

Each bite-sized improvement is a success, reaching better. Find your bite size and improve that much every day/week/whatever.

You can reach better every day, but you’ll never reach perfect.

Define your long-term goals, define the next incremental better as you go, and you’ll quickly find you’ve come a long way.

Just remember, don’t think of those long-term goals as your “perfect”. When you reach them, define the next long-term goal and keep reaching better every day.
