As the usage of artificial intelligence (AI) becomes more widespread, concerns about its potential dangers are increasing. The non-transparency in AI makes it difficult for humans to understand and probably leads to biased decision-making. With artificial general intelligence (AGI) emerging, which aims to learn and mimic human values and wisdom, the self-awareness of technology owners to embrace principles of openness and decentralization is imminent. To ensure the development of ethically sound AI alignment, we must nurture AI with care and caution, sharing our collective intelligence for a fairer society.
