Steve Jobs said “You’ve got to find what you love.… The only way to do great work is to love what you do.” The idea to “follow my passion” was thrilling. But the more I thought about the idea of following my passion, the more it was a trap. Here are the 3 strategies that have worked for me over the years to love my work while letting my passion grow behind the scenes for me: Adopt the craftsman mindset, not passion mindset.
