The amount of content being created in the world is increasing exponentially, leading to a surge in demand for analyzing, moderating, curating, and refining content. Given the overwhelming noise, it is essential to filter out irrelevant content and focus on the most crucial and valuable information.

My Role

I’m Christopher, and I’m the technical founder of Moderation API. My job is to ensure we provide the best possible solutions to our growing customer base.

How We're Disrupting/Improving the Industry for online platforms

Machine learning algorithms have advanced rapidly in recent times, allowing us to offer tailored AI solutions to companies at a reasonable expense. This enables workflow automation and company expansion prior to recruiting new personnel, ultimately lowering operational overheads.

Standing Out from The Crowd

Many other content analysis companies only provide off-the-shelf models and lacks the ability to customize analysis solutions to each customer. On the other end we have big agencies that can create custom solutions - but at a steep price.

We find ourselves in between providing self-service custom AI solutions affordable to any company.

Our Predictions/Thoughts on the AI Industry in 2023

In 2023, the AI industry is expected to experience significant growth and advancement with AI technology becoming even more widespread and accessible to companies of all sizes. For example, we’ll see a big increase in smaller niche companies powered by AI, and providing narrow but extremely useful services.

We also predict more focus will be placed on ethical considerations, particularly in data privacy and security. Furthermore, advanced NLP and voice recognition will allow for more intuitive and seamless human-machine interactions.

What word defines the state of the AI industry in 2023?

”uncanny valley”.

As human-like AI applications become more ubiquitous and advanced, human-like AI behaviors could trigger discomfort or unease in users, creating a balancing act for developers who want to create lifelike AI without crossing into unsettling territory.
