How to launch a Node js app behind an Nginx proxy on Amazon EC2 instance in a step by step walkthrough. We will use Node, git, yarn and PM2 to run your app behind the proxy. We need to set up security groups so that you and your website visitors can access your app (and you will be able to connect to it via SSH) The example below assumes your app starts via index.js. If your app is running on the local host, it will be running on port 3000 on a port 3000.
