My AI Resume Maker Website Passes $1k in MRR 🥳

One year ago, I found myself unemployed and with no idea how to get a job. I applied to as a many job posts as I could, yet I got no calls. I realized I had to change my approach to job hunting. The first thing I needed was a professional resume. I created my resume using Word at that time, but I spent some much time doing it. After I was done, I started looking for alternatives to create a professional resume faster and without spending so much time formatting it. I couldn’t find an alternative that I liked, so I decided to create one myself.

I had built ResumeBoostAI to help myself create a resume to start applying to jobs a year ago. I never thought it would become what it has become now. There are many AI resume maker tools out there, but I wanted to make mine very simple and easy to use and most importantly affordable to all people; especially students.

As I’m typing this, my AI resume maker tool which started as a side hustle has surpassed $1k in monthly revenue. 🥳

In terms of search, this is how it looks for the last 6 months.

There is still a lot of work to be done specially in the SEO front. I will do this by creating more pages that target specific keywords and also by increasing the Domain Rating (DR) of my website by submitting to other websites with high DR. Other things I currently do for SEO are having the right h1 and h2 tags, writing good content, having images and media all over the website, interlinking and also outbound links to to other pages.

My website also has numerous free resources and tools which help drive traffic to the website such as a free ATS resume checker tool, free resume templates and more resources.
