Meet Samiran Mondal - HackerNoon Contributor of the Year - Innovation!

As someone in the Blockchain industry, I believe that the most exciting technology of the present is blockchain because, with the successful implementation of blockchain technology, cloud storage can become extra secure against the attacks of hackers.

It reduces unauthorized data tampering while encrypting the data using. Learn more about my thoughts and opinions on Blockchain and my journey in the tech industry via the interview below.

Q. What does it mean for you to win this title?

Answer- First, I would like to thank the Hackernoon team for the recognition. It is always a great feeling to have people recognize the contributions my team and I make to the advancement of the cryptocurrency community.

I am humbled to be chosen as the “Hackernoon Contributor of the year 2022.”

Q. How do you or your company intend to embrace the responsibility of this title in 2023?

Answer: Following last year’s footsteps, my team and I hope to help as many projects and users as possible accomplish their set vision.

I personally desire to use this milestone to help connect different communities within the industries by providing them with a rich source of information on the blockchain, the Metaverse, Al, NFTs, DeFi, SocialFi, GameFi, and more emerging trends.

Q. What goals are you looking forward to accomplishing in 2023 (whether it be through company initiatives or your personal journey)?

Answer: I must say I am excited about the coming year. I hope to launch a few new products for the next phase of my company relevant to the mission of the company. I am also looking forward to working with new personnel and project that come with the new changes.

Q. Which trend(s) are you most excited about in 2023? Share your reason.

Answer: We have had a rough couple of months, and like many in the industry, I am hopeful that 2023 will unfold more practical implementations of emerging concepts like Web3.

I am excited to see the rise of many trends, mostly, Asset tokenization, blockchain as a service, and zero-knowledge proof theory, to help with the adoption of Web3 and more practical use cases for NFTs.

I believe these trends stand to help shape the future of the blockchain industry. We still have a long way to go, and these trends could help us set the right foundations for attaining a better blockchain ecosystem.

5. 2022 had been crazy, especially in Tech - what with layoff, web3 fraud, and AI! Which trend are you most concerned about? What solutions can you think of? Be as brief or as detailed as you like.

Answer: Growing fraud cases cutting across different industries. In 2022, reported crypto-related cases amounted to about $3.5 billion. Considering previous records, these numbers will continue to rise in 2023 and the years to come.

Both projects and users need to be vigilant and take the necessary steps to prevent such incidences. Caution should also be exercised before any dealings. As scammers get smart in their dealings, we should change how we protect ourselves.

Q. Share your biggest success so far and/or your biggest failure so far.

Answer:  Growing NewsCoverage Agency to what it is now. It has been phenomenal to see the company grow from the ground up. All the hours and efforts put into the project have allowed me to interact with key players in the industry, for which I am grateful. Evidently, leading to winning the Hackernoon Contributor of the year two years in a row.

Q. We would love your feedback on HackerNoon as a tech publication! How has your experience been with us?

Answer: The Hackernoon team has been nothing short of amazing, cooperative, and supportive. It is such a pleasure to work alongside such great minds. I look forward to more collaborations in 2023.

Q. Any words of wisdom you’d like to share with us?

Answer: Keep up the good work. Opening up your platform for global contributors has helped nurture great talents, provide resources through information, and increase the adoption of many trends.
