Too Long; Didn't Read

Does humanity still exist? In the 21st Century, every one of us feels this at some particular moment in our life. The changing world, growing competition has become the most talked-about topic. Is this competition so harsh that we hear about students having no other option other than suicide? Is the present generation happy? Hasn’t this pandemic affected students having an inner feeling of whether they are really prepared for the future? Are humans actually faking what they actually are up to?

Does humanity still exist?

In the 21st Century, every one of us feels this at some particular moment in our life. The changing world, growing competition has become the most talked-about topic. Why do we get this feeling that people have changed? Why do we feel that somewhere in between our personal space, there lies a word named ‘Competition’? Are we happy with this competition where humans actually go to an extent to hurt others? Do our friends actually want us to have a great life ahead or are these just words to say and not to be meant at all?

Above all, does humanity exist? Does love prevail in existing times? Are humans actually faking what they actually are up to? Ain’t people being selfish for their own good? These are some real questions that have been in my mind for a long time and I actually feel that the audience, my dear friends, and close ones do experience this at some point in their lives! Is this competition so harsh that we hear about students having no other option other than suicide? Is the present generation happy? Hasn’t this pandemic affected students having an inner feeling of whether they are really prepared for the future?

No one actually talks about these important topics. Everyone is in their own race. Winning is the only goal. By hook or by crook for most of the present generation people.

Actually, people don’t understand the true meaning of friendship. For me, it means to grow together and not alone. Helping others can give you an ample amount of satisfaction and belief.

Experiencing such things makes you a great person within. I would rather love to know a person who is a billionaire and helps the poor and backward public rather than someone who is a billionaire and doesn’t care a bit about the poor.

Self-obsession ain’t a great thing. It can take you to a path worth not exploring. Being fake can do great to you, but after a point, if you have something known as a feeling, you would surely realize how wrong you have been. But having a bit of experience, I can surely say that people don’t know what a feeling actually is. You may go a long way as a successful person but you won’t be a person full of simplicity and having everyone’s respect.

Competition has surely halted relationships of any kind you can think about. Is this humanity? Just to win a race, not letting others grow. I don't believe in this. It’s a crazy circle of people just flowing into the competition, maybe even hurting others in the process. You might go on to becoming a glorious person by your stature, but surely not as a human. These people lack the most basic and common thing, respect for others. They fake around totally.

Now being an engineer, I understand how this competition can affect a person. Striving and working hard over years and still not ending up getting what you have worked so hard for can demotivate you to an extent where even a psychological expert can’t handle you. Hopes of society can break you from within. Society doesn’t see how you are as a person but you are judged upon by your uncles and aunts by how much you earn.

In this generation, this has been a factor in many people having no option but to give up totally. This pressure can take you even off the path you are surely worth reaching.

Isn’t the present generation just trying to keep themselves motivated during the present times? This pandemic has changed many and is surely continuing to do so. It has halted many people. Some have surely come to an extent where they feel they can’t do anything in the future. Some have lifted their boots and future hopes. There is no help of any form for us. We are just trying to fight this situation, still having no clue.

There is no man with a pure heart on this earth. Mankind is not even something given importance. It’s all about money. I don’t believe in mankind anymore having seen this world from all dimensions as much as I could. There is no positivity left. People can go to any extent - is this humanity? Anyone around you can be in search of an opportunity to hurt you. So be a bit observant.

I used to believe in mankind. I used to question why I feel there’s no humanity left. Today I have kept my thoughts. I hope you all like this short blog of mine. Pondering on these things could make you a better person!
