Nakamoto proposed blockchain for the realization of Bitcoin in his 2008 publication; could he have known that it would facilitate quick and accurate detection of malware, which has continued to put cybersecurity analysts on edge? Malware is very difficult to detect and has continued to target IoT equipment recently. Its detection couldn’t be a more major concern, hence the need for a new effective method for detecting it. Blockchain method of malware detection is the novel system that allows users in a blockchain network to share signatures of suspected malware files. It has made it easy for users to detect and eliminate any malware quickly and accurately.
