FOMO stands for 'Fearing of Missing Out' During the pandemic, everybody missed the get-together functions, wedding ceremonies, tripping to loved places, etc. They are missing out on their normal life. Most people overcome the scenario however some of them still stick to it. Let us discuss some tips to overcome the Post-pandemic FOMo. Focus on what we have, then you step back from this and think about what you have. Don’t allow social media and news to control your life.

During the pandemic, everybody missed the get-together functions, wedding ceremonies, tripping to loved places, etc. In those days we were fighting with Covid 19 variants. Later the days are worried about the vaccinations. Most people overcome the scenario however some of them still stick to it.


They are missing out on their normal life.

Reasons why FOMO gets worse during the pandemic

The FOMO comes on when we are comparing ourselves with others. What do they have and what we do not have? In Pre-covid, you may have experienced the same but now it is worsening.


Let us discuss some tips to overcome the Post-pandemic FOMO


Focus on what we have


FOMO is always thinking about others who have, then you step back from this and think about what you have. Showing a perspective of gratitude simply makes you happy. It lowers the stress.

Choose your own pace

Make a decision that is right for you


If you are not interested to go out for a dinner with friends, you would deny it. Then finally when you are comfortable to arrange a party with the same ones. Slowly pushing back to your normal life will give you mental and physical health.


Live in the moment


Practice living in the present makes a vast difference in your character. This is a great way to help in reducing anxiety about the past or future. Lives in the present enhance your concentration power.


Don’t allow social media and news to control your life


FOMO is common, but the usage of social media makes an urge on the stage. When you notice that cell phones, tv, and other media-related devices make you anxious better for you to avoid or reduce their usage of the same.


Patience

Millions of people are suffering from anxiety, depression, and FOMO. All these things are getting worse when we didn't give time to run from it. It needs time to recover. So one must have the patience to get over it.
