Facebook let advertisers target users interested in “pseudoscience” The Markup paid to advertise a post targeting people interested in pseudoscience. Facebook says it has removed the category, but it's not clear how many advertisers have purchased ads targeting the group. An ad for a hat that would supposedly protect my head from cellphone radiation appeared on my Facebook feed on Thursday, April 16. A spokesperson for Lambs says the company didn’t select the category; it was done by Facebook independently.
