Too Long; Didn't Read

Samuel Beckett was interviewing for a software engineer job at a small software consultancy. The company was also a spin-off of a reputable software research institute in Norway. He was presented with a sophisticated desktop application used in the development of seismic modelling of the ocean floor, for the purpose of discovering and exploration of oil reserves. One of the main customers was the biggest Norwegian producer of oil & gas, Equinor. They also seem to acknowledge the severity of the climate crisis and the importance of cutting down on emissions.
