Too Long; Didn't Read

If you organize an event, this might be of interest. We used it successfully for some of our own Leade.rs events and a few event organizers liked it so we made it a co-branded product any event can use.

You need great speakers at your event. Why not ask your community and past participants?

It’s a Kickstarter of sorts, a crowdsourced call for speakers.

  1. Set up a co-branded “Call for speakers” website powered by Leade.rs

Just send us a logo and text. We will set it up for you. Here is what it looks like for our upcoming “Mindfulness and meditation” event.

2. Send your own “Call for speakers” link to your community and past participants by email and share it on social networks.

They can type any name of a speaker they would like to recommend — see it here as I’m adding Soren Gordhamer. If we know the speaker we will display it, otherwise any new name can be added.

3. We will search and curate every single name suggested.

Our curation team will research every single name and add them to your database of recommended speakers with their full bio and useful links (LinkedIn bio, videos of their talks etc.). If and when other users recommend that speaker, it will show under her profile.

See below — 11 people recommended Stan Chudnovsky for our bots event.

4. We will provide you (and your community) with a full list of recommended speakers sorted by the number of people recommending them.

See it in action for our previous bots events; we received more than 160 recommendations.

Email me now if you are interested: loic at leade.rs I will be happy to add you to our list of testers for our “call for speakers” product.

Coming next: -a simple dashboard of all the speakers recommended and a tool that will help you invite them through Leade.rs -a speakers app that will help them manage their speaking requests-a dashboard that will help you manage your speakers
