Have you seen the news? Casey Neistat’s Beme has just been acquired by CNN what does this mean…

One thing is for sure here mobile video is huge and growing, for both consuming and viewing.

With Beme (incase you don’t know) you have both sides viewing and creating. The flow to create is quick and unedited, from recording the moment to the content being uploaded and viewable.

Fast-forward to today and the headline below, part of this deal is that Beme will be shut down with all users to receive a notification allowing them to download any uploaded videos.*

Along with this, Casey and the 11-person team behind Beme will join CNN to work on a new project. (I have an idea of what this could be below)

CNN to start a new media brand with YouTube star Casey Neistat_YouTube sensation Casey Neistat last week announced he was quitting his daily video blog and now we know why: his app…_www.theverge.com

Just before the U.S Election the team behind Beme released the app Exit Poll which allowed users to explain in a short video who they voted for & why.

Could it be possible that the new project the team is working on is a platform — version of this app? Using the tools from Beme for Exit Poll like short reaction videos.

Exit Poll Live_On Election Day 2016, Exit Poll brought you the voices and views of real Americans LIVE from all across the country._exitpoll.live

Could this be the answer? Would be great to hear more opinions on this!

P.s if you are a Beme user and want somewhere to upload any past content Snappd might be just the place for you — let me know. 😎
