Lisk Events at Berlin Blockchain Week

Do you want to learn more about blockchain? Would you like to network with other Web3 enthusiasts and learn more about the most important industry trends? Then the Berlin Blockchain Week from September 12th to the 18th will be the perfect time/place to do so!

These events are taking place in multiple locations in Berlin. Berlin Blockchain Week is a decentralized community initiative with no owner. There are many different events and activities throughout the week, focusing on multiple topics from the industry. The goals are:

• Reduce noise from the market

• Focus on Web3 education

• Remain as cost-friendly as possible

• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for blockchain enthusiasts

  
  

The Lisk team will be attending events during the week, and is aiming to be one of the key contributors. Events will take place at the Lisk Center, as well as team members taking part in panel discussions throughout the city.

Blockchain Day II

The first Blockchain Day, held at the Lisk Center Berlin earlier this year, was a huge success. it was clear for the Lisk team to host the second edition during Blockchain Week.

Lisk is now looking forward to hosting the second edition, which will focus on the topic ofBlockchain Interoperability. Lisk has invited different organizations to participate and explain the topic from their perspective and landscape, as well as the Lisk Research team diving into the Lisk Interoperability initiatives.

Already more than 130 Web3 developers and enthusiasts are confirmed to join the event on September 14th. We hope to see you there.

Supporting Builders from A-Z

Another event the Lisk Center will be hosting during the week is Supporting Builders from A-Z with CV Labs on September 15th. The event is focused on helping developers understand the landscape of funding, from grant programs, to incubation programs, to later stage investments.

The event will be a great opportunity for founders, developers, hackers, startups, or even investors to learn more about how we support the WEB 3 Ecosystem from A-Z, from deep technical experts to late-stage funding.

Hosting the Interoperability Panel at Blockchain in Use

BerChain and Berlin Partner are hosting the Blockchain in Use Conference at Factory Görlitzer Park on September 15th. This year the conference will focus on use cases and blockchain key players within the following tracks:

• Finance

• Creative Industries

As an important player in the future of Interoperability, Lisk has been invited to host the panel discussion at Blockchain in Use, with panelists from projects like Polkadot, Filechain & Ocean Protocol.

Alessandro Ricottone, Head of Research at Lisk, will moderate the panel to shed light on vital questions that have risen about this topic:

• What does interoperability within decentralized systems mean?
• Which industries will have a high demand for interoperability?
• What kind of new business cases can be imagined on the basis of interoperability?
• What are the regulatory and organizational challenges?

CV Summit in Zug

Apart from Berlin, Lisk will be a Platinum Sponsor at the CV Summit in Zug Switzerland, which takes place the same days as the Blockchain Day & Supporting Builders from A-Z.

The CV Summit is designed to facilitate high-level discourse and showcase the Swiss blockchain ecosystem as one of the leading blockchain innovation and investment landscapes in the world.

This unique event series gathers investors, corporates, and high-profile individuals in one place. Lisk’s Head of Platform Development, Manu Nelamane Siddalingegowda will participate in the debate on the State of Web3 Tech Layers 0, 1 and 2 during a panel . The Head of Exchange Development, Naureen Mustafa, will be holding a keynote on “DeFi’s potential beyond speculation”.
