When Instagress shut down in early 2017, it forced many people to race to find a suitable replacement. That’s because the automation tool had become invaluable part of how they engaged with their Instagram audience. Without it, their followings had simply stopped growing.

This article was originally written a year ago. I’ve decided to update it to keep it current with the latest developments in Instagram automation. The list below contains what I think are the five best Instagress alternatives as of 2019.

1. SocialCaptain

SocialCaptain is top-of-the-line when it comes to Instagram automation. Its systems are driven by advanced AI modules, which help it self-optimize and improve its performance the longer it runs. It’s like having a personal Instagram assistant that constantly gets better at its job.

The service also comes with an assortment of audience targeting filters, live analytics, exportable growth reports, dedicated customer support, an unlimited amount of actions per day, and many more unique features.

2. Instajool

Instajool is one of the few platforms with support for every browser and mobile device out there right now. This makes it exceptionally accessible, as well as completely safe given that it doesn’t require you to download any extra software.

Depending on the plan that you choose, you can manage anywhere from ten to a hundred Instagram accounts in one place. Instajool also has a scheduler for planning out certain times when you want the tool to be active.

3. FollowingLike

FollowingLike is quite a versatile tool, as it provides automation options for a wide variety of social networks. In addition to Instagram, it can also handle your activity on Facebook, Google+, Linkedin, Pinterest, Reddit, and Tumblr.

One aspect that sets FollowingLike apart from the rest is its payment options. Rather than only offer subscription-based plans like most services, you can pay a one-time fee and never have to worry again.

4. Influuu

Influuu assists you by pairing you with a team of marketing experts. All you need to do is fill out a short form with the names of other Instagram influencers in your field, and then a little more information about yourself or your business. From there the professionals will take care of the rest.

Their marketers take the greatest care in studying your account, so that they can individualize their approach based on your needs and get you the most followers possible.

5. Instazood

Instazood allows you to customize your features as you’d like. They have four modules to choose from: an Instagram bot with basic automation, a comment tracker/organizer, a direct messenger, and a post manager.

Being able to pay for each module separately, and cut out the ones you don’t need, makes Instazood a very affordable alternative.
