Too Long; Didn't Read
The first time I wrote an annual performance review for an employee was no walk in the park. After writing over seventy reviews, I’ve created a nice format for myself. I separate my assessments into two sections:1. Which contributions represent the employee’s best work?2. Constructive feedback on areas of growth. Taking Square's Career Ladder, I have sections for technical execution, ownership, etc. These groups capture the nuances of one's performance. This structure enables me to dive into those details.
