Too Long; Didn't Read
Product Marketing Managers, or PMMs, are prominent "players" in this "game", and their responsibilities are tailored to each and every stage of the company's path from an idea to the released product and its success. Product marketing is not over once the product has been brought to the market, it does last. The ultimate goal of any company is to build the product a lot of customers want, which translates into finding, holding, and scaling the product-market fit. A PMM should create and tell a story about the problem that the product solves, the user who is facing this problem, and what the product does that competitors don't do.
