But let me let you in on a little secret… IT IS! Let me lay it out for you this way. Collaborating online is very effective from an execution level, but from a strategy level — it’s hard to beat in-person events. This is why we come together once a quarter to review our goals and plan for the next quarter. It’s incredibly refreshing to be able to do this in person, rather than through a doc. I’ve never really experienced long periods of physically being by myself. Isolation After a few months of working remotely, I suddenly realized that I might go a week without leaving the house or talking to anyone (in the real world) but my wife. Whether that’s family, travel, volunteering, etc. Working should provide you the means to focus on your ‘why’ not take it away from you.
