Plus, using @Google you really never know if you are seeing an ad or the relevance was determined by how much @Google got paid.

First, El Salvador is maybe break even on the adoption of Bitcoin - $120M initially invested of the public funds is roughly doubled, but when you take the $200M spent on getting the populace to adopt Bitcoin, they are red if not breakeven.

Secondly, what the article says about the best attitude for Bitcoin adoption is true - don’t get into Bitcoin for the 100X returns, use it as a PERFECT unit of store.  Like GOLD of yore, before it too became open to manipulation.

And lastly, Bitcoin has moved wildly because of manipulation.  $800M worth of transactions a day, many of which are double prints, is still an easily manipulated amount for manipulation.  For instance, when the U.S. government can dump billions of dollars of Bitcoin on the market in a single day, BOOM, manipulation (from the government).

I’m in the camp of optimistic and cautious adoption.  I put 1% or less of monthly income towards Bitcoin reserves for my household.
