Interesting development: [The r/dune subreddit has just banned AI-generated art](https://www.reddit.com/r/dune/comments/y256x6/aigenerated_art_is_not_allowed_on_this_subreddit/?user_id=54810339260&web_redirect=true). We might find this more in the future, where platforms seek to ban the spamming with AI art while supporting human creators. For me, this seems to be the way to go.

I agree with this move, but how will platforms know in the future what is AI-made and what is human-made? We still don’t have the technology for determining it.

@kloopdaringa, I really appreciate hearing from someone who read my article. Thanks for the discussion. Your phrase “we aren’t wired to say no to that” is such an excellent way of putting it. Modern tech is interfacing with us in a way that is very hard for us to resist biologically. I believe the strongest connections/addictions are being made on the subconscious/invisible level level.

What Is Traditional Finance & Why Is the Current Financial System on Shaky Ground?

I think that efficiency usually wins. And DeFi cuts out many middlemen -- who at one time were needed -- but now they are not needed.

Cutting out the now useless middlemen will save businesses, society, and global corporations A LOT of money -- so much money that doing away with the anachronistic “bank” seems to be a fate that’s written in the stars.
